Creation of a corporate calendar for Hosser Group based on the company code
Objective:
To convey the values of the company, prescribed in the code, through a desktop corporate calendar
About project:
Hosser Group is a Russian engineering company specializing in the creation of healthcare facilities.
Hosser consciously approaches its mission and values and tries to convey them to employees in an accessible and convenient form. A code has been adopted within the company, part of which are portraits of managers and subordinates who follow the values of Hosser. The document is a 50-page booklet that new employees are familiarized with when they take up their positions. Hosser's management wanted the company's values to have more contact with employees through simple, daily-used media. Our task was to adapt and integrate the content from the Codex portraits into the desktop calendar.
The “house” format allowed us to allocate two pages for each month, placing information about managers on one side and subordinates on the other. Thus, the calendar had 24 pages with numerals instead of 12. It was decided to "pack" the information in the form of colorful infographics-comics with actors – employees of the company.
The project realization included:
- the work of a copywriter (shortening and adapting text from the code);
- creative work (coming up with ideas of information layout, creating infographics scripts);
- the work of an illustrator (creating vector illustrations with characters);
- designer's work (developing the appearance of pages, calendar number and calendar base, layout and preparation for printing);
- art director (project manager).
The main feature of the project was the reduction of 50-page text into small theses, the main message had to be conveyed by illustrations. And this was the main challenge - the infographics had to convey mostly abstract concepts - the qualities of employees. As a result, 24 stories were developed, involving employees in various situations related to the company's activities.
