Design and production of a commemorative souvenir for dignitaries
About project:
The client is the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI) - the leading scientific center for the study of the polar regions of the Earth.
4D Agency had a task to develop a memorable VIP-souvenir for high-ranking officials on the eve of the launch of the new wintering complex of Vostok station. It was important to think over every detail and convey the idea of its importance, as well as to tell about the team of creators of the unique building structure. The solution was creation of a gift model of the wintering complex of Vostok station.
The project implementation included layout development, 3D modeling, and packaging creation.
On the basis of images of the station models were created and 3D-model of the complex was designed. The materials of the packaging and the model itself were chosen of premium level. The model was cast from brass. The peculiarity of the project was the high detailing of the station, which allowed to display all the features of the complex, including even inscriptions with thin lines on the construction of the structure. The casket and stand were made of natural wood, and the spoons were made of blue velvet.
The uniqueness of the gift was emphasized by the limited edition: 41 models were made in total, and each copy had a unique identification number.
The casket together with the model of the complex included a booklet with information about the wintering complex of Vostok station, made in the Institute's corporate colors.
