Objective:
Organization of a ceremony that supports the image of the Russian Federation in the international scientific community as part of the Russian Energy Week 2019 in Moscow.
About project:
On October 3, 2019, the 17th Global Energy Prize Award Ceremony was held in Moscow as part of the Russian Energy Week. The award was presented by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Novak.
"Global Energy" - is the award of the new millennium. It effectively solves energy problems, uniting the potential of the entire world scientific community. At the moment, 39 scientists from 13 countries have won the award whose discoveries contribute to improving the efficiency and environmental safety of energy sources on Earth. The winners’ technologies contribute to sustainable energy development, creating a better future for all of us.
In 2019, the winners of the award became:
• Khalil Amine (USA) – For contribution to the development of efficient energy storage technology
• Frede Blaabjerg (Denmark) - For outstanding technical contribution to the development of an intelligent management system for the widely held use of renewable energy
4D Agency team was the organizer of the event starting from the big idea to event implementation. As part of the REW business program, an official award ceremony was held and in the evening, participants, including laureates, members of the jury, representatives of the Association and other high-ranking guests gathered for a reception in honor of the laureates which was held at the Pashkov House.
The award ceremony was traditionally opened with a multimedia, musical and visual performance, the main idea of which is "the energy of thought – the energy of creation".
The Grand opening of the award was dedicated to this concept.
A live musical performance, in which, as a whole, images of a person and the idea emerging in it, creativity to create the most important discoveries in the field of energy were shown. All this translates the idea of the meaning of man and the power of his intellect in the knowledge of the world around him.
"Global energy is recognized as a "mega award" in the rating of The International Congress of Distinguished Awards (ICDA). Also, according to the IREG International Observatory, the award is among the «TOP 99» most prestigious and significant international awards and is the only award from Russia in this list.
