About project:
The Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute is the oldest research institution in Russia that conducts comprehensive research of the Earth’s polar regions.
4D Agency developed the concept and implemented the production of corporate calendars for the Institute in 2023.
A2 format calendar focuses on the resumption of scientific activity in the Arctic. Unique photos from the expedition to the Arctic of the self-moving ice-resistant platform «North Pole» were chosen for the calendar.
The A5 calendars were based on the best drawings of the all-Russian children’s competition «Drawing Polar Science», which was organized by the Institute. More than 200 children participated in the competition. Selecting the 12 best pictures on the Arctic theme was a challenge! We have chosen a mix of drawings: with polar bears, whales, seals and penguins, scientific expeditions. Each drawing corresponded to a specific month on the calendar.
