Development of a limited edition cоllection of porcelain figurines LSP "Severny Polyus"
Our team has developed and implemented a unique VIP gift for the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, which they presented to their partners — a limited-edition collection of porcelain replicas of the Ice-Resistant Platform "Severny Polyus."
Objective:
To create an exclusive corporate gift reflecting unique scientific achievements and high organizational status, contributing to enhancing brand image and recognition among key partners and stakeholders.
About project:
PROJECT CONCEPT:
The ice-resistant platform "Severny Polyus" is a state-of-the-art research center that enables continuous monitoring of climate and environmental processes in the Arctic region, which is critical for understanding global climate change. This project was launched after nearly a decade-long hiatus and incorporated the results of years of research and development efforts. Choosing this object as a souvenir emphasizes its significance and role in studying the Arctic.
IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS:
Creating a porcelain replica of the Severny Polyus platform became part of a large-scale PR campaign marking the launch of the expedition. It’s not just a souvenir but a symbol of exceptional scientific achievement. Unlike standard VIP gifts, this item reflects the uniqueness and prestige of AARI.
Implementing this project was challenging and required exceptional precision. Our team did not have access to 3D models, blueprints or the actual object—only photographs were available, based on which we developed a prototype. The manufacturing process was entrusted to Duliyev Porcelain Factory where molds were manually created with subsequent adjustments made to achieve maximum similarity to the original design followed by detailed hand-painted decoration.
Each stage of work demanded high professional skills and attention to even the smallest details.
